Uhm I've been the world's biggest slacker with this blog. So here are some pictures of my last few weeks here.
Okay so this is a picture of what they claim is the longest escalator in all of Europe. Sounds little far fetched but I mean the ride on it is like 10 minutes long.
This is some cathedral at Lavra.
Again a cathedral at lavra.
I think this is the bell tower. My native coordinator was like, "we are so lucky because we get to hear the bells at this time." I'm not sure why that made her feel lucky... those bells sounded truly awful. But the bell tower is real pretty especially at night.
Dunno. Another nameless cathedral.
This is the view from my bedroom window. The snow has melted some since i took this picture but it's all basically the same.
These are 3 of the kids i teach... best picture i could manage. Their names from left to right are Igor, Masha, and Anya. Oh and that's Kim of course.
That's me under the "friendship arch"... alone. it is what it is.
Again, me with da kids. We made mustaches out of cotton balls as part of our activity.
This is Saint Andrew's cathedral. Probably my fave.
And this is Saint Andrew's cathedral again, but from a different view point and obviously at night. This is why it's my favorite. It looks fantastic from far away. Please forgive the crappy picture quality.
If you looked at all these pictures chances are I love you and miss you.
Have a totally awesome American day.
xoxo
